Thranhardt Lectures

The Thranhardt Lectures are one of the most anticipated events at the Academy Annual Meeting. The Thranhardt Lectures will be presented at 8:00 am Thursday morning. The Thranhardt Lecture Honorarium was established by Hanger, Inc. in memory of Howard R. Thranhardt, CP. The Thranhardt Lectures highlight clinical findings, research, statistical analysis, and results.

Thematic Poster Session

Thematic poster sessions are informal interactive education forums. Similar to the classic townhall forum, thematic poster sessions are not typical podium sessions where the questions are directed at presenters and their specific work. Rather, questions may be directed to and from any individual attending the session, which may include the presenter, moderator, and audience members. Moderators may help to initiate the conversation but will encourage the discussion to grow beyond the specific scope of any single presentation to instead encompass a more broad area. Audience members ask each other questions on the topic, and they might easily answer as many questions as, or more questions than, the presenter. These sessions lead to lively and entertaining discussions and are meant to be more informal.

Free Papers

Free Papers offer solutions to common problems, patient and practice management techniques, innovative uses of technology, or current research findings. Free Paper content is unbiased and, as much as possible, based on evidence.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be on display during the entire meeting. Authors will showcase their posters at a Poster Presentation session.
