Travel Information

We encourage you to confirm your travel arrangements early to take advantage of lower fares. Travel-On is the official travel agency for the 36th Academy Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium. Airline reservations may be made by visiting www.tvlon.com/oandp or call 888-495-7770 and refer to the meeting code OandP.

The Hyatt Regency is conveniently located just a few miles from either O'Hare or Midway airports. Depending on traffic allow at least 45 minutes travel time to/from O'Hare and 30 minutes for Midway.

The following information provides the different transportation options from both airports.

Shuttle Service

FROM O'HARE AIRPORT: (18 miles)

Go Airport Express Shuttle Service departs every 15 minutes from several locations throughout the airport. Cost for one-way runs $28.00 and round trip is $36.00 per person. Children 5 and under ride free, 6-12 years are half off.

FROM MIDWAY AIRPORT: (12 miles)

Go Airport Express Shuttle Service departs every 15 minutes from Door 3 on the lower level. Cost from Midway is $22 one way or $39.00 round trip.

Cabs will run approximately $30.00 from Midway and $40.00 from O'Hare airports.

The "L" Train

The "L" Train is a fast, convenient and very cost effective way to get to the Hyatt from either airport. The cost is $2.25 per person each way.

From O'Hare you take the Blue Line train located 1 level below Baggage Claim between Terminals 1 & 2.  Be sure to board the train that says "next train out". Get off at the Clark/Lake station. Go east on Lake Street about 4 blocks to Stetson. Make a left on Stetson and the hotel is two blocks up on the left.

From Midway take the Orange Line located on the other side of the parking garage (about a10 minute walk). Take the train to the State/Lake station. The walk to the Hyatt is about 4 blocks. Go east on Lake Street to Stetson and make a left. Walk two blocks to the hotel entrance. Visit www.transitchicago.com for more train information.

Hotel Parking:

The Hyatt offers indoor valet with in/out privileges. The charges to park your car range from $22.00 - $48.00 per hour depending on how long you are at the hotel. Overnight fee is $48.00 with in/out privileges. The garage has a 6ft 8in clearance.

* No motorcycle parking is allowed at the hotel. Guests driving motorcycles can park at the nearby Park Millennium Garage (312-946-0452), which offers 24-hour parking with no in/out privileges.
