Who should attend?

The Academy Annual Meeting is geared toward certified orthotists, prosthetists, technicians, fitters, assistants, candidates, residents, students, as well as professional individuals including pedorthists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, physicians, rehabilitation engineers and case managers.

Suppliers of orthotic and prosthetic related products and services are encouraged to exhibit.

When does the meeting begin?

The meeting officially begins on Wednesday, March 1 with Technical Workshops at 8:30 am and ending with the Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall at 6:00 pm.

For your convenience, registration opens onsite on Tuesday, February 28 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm then again at 7:00 am on Wednesday.

What sessions are being offered?

A preliminary program will be mailed in November to all Academy members and ABC certified and registered individuals. You may also click on the Schedule link. The website will be updated as revisions are made.

Where will the meeting be held?

All sessions, registration and the exhibit hall will be in the Hyatt Regency.

What is the dress code for the meeting?

Business casual is appropriate to wear to all programs and events. The temperature in hotels always runs cool so keep that in mind. Chicago average temperature ranges from 35-45 in March so plan accordingly.
